Jan Siesling is a writer of fiction, poetry and art history. He has published
books and articles in English, Dutch, French, Greek, Chinese, and Italian. Bornin 1951 in the Netherlands, he lived in France before coming to the United States. Trained as an art historian at the Free University of Amsterdam, he has lectured at many universities and museums. From 2007 to 2011, he was the director of the Art Museum of the University of Southern Mississippi. When not writing, he is a passionate traveler, in Europe and North-America, now discovering China.
